Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar is making another push to lower the cost of prescription drugs.

She has been passionate about this issue throughout her time in the Senate.

A roundtable was held Wednesday at the M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, where she talked about the impact prescription drug costs have on Minnesotans.

"We have seniors that are literally taking drops of insulin and keeping it day-to-day because it is so expensive," she said.

Back in March, Sen. Klobuchar introduced a bill allowing Medicare to negotiate the prices of prescription drugs for some seniors.
