Minnesota federal court buildings to close due to threats

Several Minnesota federal court buildings will close for a number of days next week due to recent threats being made against government buildings.

A release from the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota says the U.S. Courthouses in St. Paul, Minneapolis, Fergus Falls, and Duluth will be closed from 12 a.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Thursday.

The buildings will be closed to all people seeking to enter the building, including staff.

Multiple government buildings have announced closures in the state as protests are planned leading up to the President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.
