Ivanka Trump to visit Bloomington, Duluth on Monday

Ivanka Trump, advisor to the president will visit Duluth and Bloomington on Monday.
According to a White House official, she will be joined by Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt and Congressman Pete Stauber for a visit to a local manufacturing facility where the company is expected to sign the Pledge to America’s Workers.
The White House says the visit will highlight the administration’s commitment to increasing access to skills training for all Americans and to supporting U.S. manufacturing. The Trump administration says the Pledge to America’s Workers to date touts more than 16.3 million opportunities pledged by over 440 companies.
"On the heels of our visit to Colorado to celebrate the hard fought passage of the Great American Outdoors Act, the largest conservation legislation since the founding of our nation’s park system by President Roosevelt 100 years ago, am looking forward to visiting the great state of Minnesota with Secretary Bernhardt to advance two top priorities for the Administration, the Pledge to America’s Workers, and supporting American Indian and Alaska Native communities," Ivanka Trump, Advisor to the President said in a release. "With this visit we will further Trump’s commitment to forgotten men and women across our country and the Administration’s efforts to ensure that all Americans can live with dignity and the promise of a brighter future.”
The group will then travel to Bloomington, to participate in the opening of the first missing and murdered cold case office in the United States. They will be joined by Darrell Seki, Sr, Chairman of the Red Lake Nation Tribe and Tara Sweeney, Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs.
The Trump administration says it has held a steadfast commitment to enhancing the operation of the criminal justice system and addressing the concerns of American Indian and Alaska Native communities regarding missing and murdered people — particularly missing and murdered women and girls.
