Minnesota, Wisconsin electors formally cast votes for Biden, Harris

Monday, electors in Minnesota and Wisconsin convened and formally cast their votes for president and vice president.

Each state awarded all 10 electoral votes to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who won the popular vote in both states.

Monday was day set by law for electors across the country to meet and formally cast their votes, which will be sent to Washington and tallied in a Jan. 6 joint session of Congress over which Vice President Mike Pence will preside.
