This week on "At Issue," the Minnesota Legislature’s deadline is hours away and there’s still two major issues facing lawmakers: a bonding bill, which helps public infrastructure projects, and ratifying the state employee unions’ contracts.

Our political analysts explain what the impasse means for the rest of Minnesota — and how it might affect political discussion going forward.

Gov. Tim Walz is easing restrictions on his "stay at home" order while simultaneously extending his peacetime executive authority. It’s something we’re seeing all across the nation, including in neighboring Wisconsin, where Gov. Tony Evers’s authority was struck down by the state Supreme Court.

Here in Minnesota, Walz appointed a new justice to the state’s high court. We hear his response to any COVID-19-related lawsuits.

Additionally, we continue celebrating the Class of 2020 and look back at National Police Week.
