With 10 days left in President Donald Trump’s term, Democrats and Republicans alike are calling for him to leave office. It comes after a tumultuous week in Washington, where we talked to Minnesota’s Congressional delegation about their experience during the riots at the U.S. Capitol.

Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips stayed in Washington, hoping that Congress would be called back into session to start impeachment proceedings against the President. Meanwhile, Rep. Tom Emmer, a Republican, guarantees a peaceful transition of power.

Democratic Sen. Tina Smith recalls her experience and gives a message to the people who stormed the building. We talked to one rioter who was on his way back home to Wisconsin after being part of the siege.

Back in Minnesota, the Legislature convened a new session, but it looked completely different from previous sessions. It comes as Gov. Tim Walz eases restrictions on businesses like bars and restaurants.
