With the primary election just two days away, we break down the 5th Congressional District race between two Democrats, U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar and Antone Melton-Meaux and the 7th District’s Republican race between party-endorsed candidate Michelle Fischbach, Dave Hughes and Noel Collis.
It was the first time FarmFest was held virtually, but it still gave candidates a chance to speak to issues facing Greater Minnesota. They answered questions about how the federal government can help bolster broadband, to what they would do to unite a seemingly divided country.
Plus, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams explains why he and the CDC changed course on mask recommendations. It comes as Gov. Tim Walz faces a federal lawsuit over his mask mandate.
