Two major party candidates for Minnesota’s governor went head-to-head in a debate at a Farmfest near Redwood Falls on Wednesday Aug. 3.

Gov. Tim Walz is hoping to win second four-year term but he’s facing Republican challenger Dr. Scott Jensen.

Public safety, the environment and economy are some of the major issues being discussed in this campaign.

Just over a month ago the state legislature legalized edible products with THC, surprising Minnesotans and even some lawmaker. A look back into the process shows how not even one lawmaker publicly questioned the legalization of THC.
