As Minnesota heads into winter and COVID-19 cases remain a concern, the federal government sent two emergency staffing teams to help local hospitals. The military team of 23 began training by Hennepin County Medical Center staff in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

Gov. Tim Walz also activated the National Guard to assist in long-term care facilities. He’d taken the same step at the start of the pandemic, but with rising positive cases, he was forced to do so again.

This week on "At Issue," we also spoke with Rep. Tom Emmer about recent and upcoming elections and the battle over redistricting.
