According to authorities, police responded to the 700 block of Lake Ridge Drive after a resident said people were outside his home threatening to shoot him. While police were en route, they were informed gunshots had been fired, and that the caller's father had been injured. The caller added that the suspects fled the scene, but identified Dixon as one of the suspects.

On Monday, Dixon was acquitted of all three charges, according to court records.
