US District Court of Minnesota suspends trials, grand juries amid COVID-19 outbreak
The U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota announced Friday it will suspend criminal and civil jury trials, as well as grand juries, due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
The suspension for criminal and civil jury trials will begin immediately until April 27. Grand juries will be suspended from March 23 to April 27.
Disruptions due to COVID-19 outbreak
Attorney admission ceremonies have also been suspended through April 27.
The four federal courthouses in the state will remain open for business despite the suspensions.
