Search for Inver Grove Heights girl who went missing in 1992 continues

Monday, officials shared a reminder that the search for an Inver Grove Heights girl who went missing in 1992 continues and information is still being sought.

Corrine Erstad went missing at about 7:30 p.m. on June 1, 1992, after she went outside to play at a park near her home. Monday is her birthday.

Missing Children Minnesota said Corrine was 5 when she went missing, and she's 32 as of Monday.

She has never been found, and while someone was arrested and tried for her abduction and murder, the person was acquitted.
