Police: Man dies after apparent drive-by shooting in St. Paul, homicide investigation underway
A man reportedly shot in St. Paul Thursday night died Friday morning, police said.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, the incident happened at about 10:20 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Thomas Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the man outside a house in the area, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was taken to Regions Hospital and at about 4:15 a.m. Friday, he was pronounced dead.
Police said a homicide investigation is underway and they are searching for the person, or people, responsible. Police said a preliminary investigation indicates the incident was a drive-by shooting and was not random.
