Child in critical condition after apparent drowning at Minneapolis hotel
A boy is in critical condition after an apparent drowning at a downtown Minneapolis hotel.
According to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were called at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday to the Normandy Inn on 8th Street on the report of a potential drowning.
The sheriff’s office says a 4-year-old boy was removed from the pool and was not responsive.
The boy was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and is in critical condition.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
