At State Capitol, law enforcement again outnumbers protesters

For the second day in a row, law enforcement outnumbered pro-Trump demonstrators at the Minnesota State Capitol.

According to a KSTP reporter at the scene, there were about 25 protesters present at the Capitol. By 2 p.m., there were less than five that remained.

Organizers didn’t expect many.

Another KSTP reporter said members of the media also outnumbered demonstrators.

So far a peaceful and very small demonstration about the election results at the MN State Capitol in St. Paul. Just a handful of demonstrators and they are outnumbered by law enforcement by at least 25-1.

Minnesota Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington made it clear on Friday the state would be prepared for any attacks similar to the siege on the U.S. Capitol two weeks ago.

Earlier this week, Harrington urged people to stay away from the State Capitol unless it was absolutely necessary.
