Anoka County Sheriff’s Office investigating death in Lino Lakes

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said it is actively investigating a death in Lino Lakes on Thursday.

According to the sheriff’s office, the location of the investigation is in the 6900 block of West Shadow Lake Drive.

The sheriff’s office said the homeowner reported that he arrived home and saw two people leave out of the front door and flee the scene. He then went inside and found his son suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Authorities responded and attempted lifesaving measures but the victim was pronounced dead.

The case remains under investigation.

The victim’s identity is expected to be released by the medical examiner’s office at a later time.
