Authorities say two people have survived a plane crash Sunday on Minnesota's Iron Range.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office told the Duluth News Tribune the plane crashed about 2 miles east of the Eveleth-Virginia Airport. Crews found a man and a woman about 400 feet from the scene.

Investigators don't believe anyone else was aboard the plane.

Authorities say the plane has extensive damage and that it's "a miracle" anyone survived.
