Wolves VP Sachin Gupta: ‘We’re ready to pick’

Timberwolves vice president of basketball operations Sachin Gupta hosted reporters on Wednesday morning for a draft preview chat.
The Wolves holds picks 1, 17, and 33 on November 18, the date the draft will finally occur. It was supposed to take place in late June, then was pushed back to mid-October. With the Orlando Bubble still ongoing, the league finally decided to hold the draft in mid-November.

The Wolves are still awaiting the announcement for the start of free agency, where they’ll have the mid-level exception to chase a player or two.
In other words, it’s going to be a very busy couple months.
