Wolves star Edwards enters league’s Covid protocols

Timberwolves budding star Anthony Edwards and wing Taurean Prince have entered the NBA’s COVID health and safety protocols ahead of tonight’s game vs. the Lakers. Both will be out an undetermined amount of time.

The Lakers have star Russell Westbrook, along with Talen Horton-Tucker, Dwight Howard, and Avery Bradley in the league’s health and safety protocols.

Players in the health and safety srotocols must be sidelined at least 10 days or record two negative COVID-19 tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities.

Edwards made 10 3-pointers and scored 38 points, as he led the Wolves to a win in Denver on Wednesday. Edwards is averaging 22 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game this season.
