Wolves POBO Rosas on possible resumption of season, antibody testing, draft prep, and more

Timberwolves president of operations Gersson Rosas talked to our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson about a myriad of topics, including the possible resumption of the season.

Rosas noted in the chat that the team is working hard on a plan to reopen Mayo Clinic Square, which is the team’s practice facility. He also mentioned that the Wolves are participating in an antibody study through the league, as more information continues to be gathered daily about COVID-19.

Wolfson and Rosas also talked about the many guest speakers they’ve welcomed for virtual chats with the players, this year’s draft and the three solid picks the Wolves should have — they own Brooklyn’s 2020 first round pick, if they make the playoffs — how Karl-Anthony Towns is doing weeks after losing his mom to COVID-19, and more.

Rosas will host the media on Wednesday morning for a Zoom call to outline how the Wolves plan on reopening their practice facility for players to workout. Many other franchises have already reopened their facilities.
