Timberwolves president of operations Tim Connelly and coach Chris Finch met with reporters Monday at Media Day.

Connelly noted that Karl-Anthony Towns, who is battling a non-Covid illness, should be back soon. Towns wasn’t at Target Center Monday.
Connelly also touched on the Iowa Wolves pipeline, the addition of former Nugget PJ Dozier, his trip to Germany to visit with Rudy Gobert, and more.
Finch addressed the high expectations for his team, the addition of Kyle Anderson, how Gobert fits and wanting to expand his usage, and more.
The Wolves are hosting an open practice Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Target Center. The first training camp practice is Tuesday.
