Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards met with reporters at Monday’s Media Day, the first time he’s been in front of cameras since making anti-gay comments on Instagram. Last week, the league announced Edwards was fined $40,000 for the language he used in a video that has since been deleted.
Edwards said he’s willing to do anything to show how sorry he is.
“I’m willing to do whatever, whatever it takes to make it right. To show everybody that I come with respect and that’s not who I am. I’m willing to take it as far as I need to.”

Edwards did also address basketball matters, including the addition of All-Star Rudy Gobert.
The Wolves open their season Oct. 19 at home vs. Oklahoma City. The first training camp practice is Tuesday.
