Timberwolves coach Chris Finch met with reporters after Monday’s shoot-around at Mayo Clinic Square.
At the end, unprompted, Finch acknowledged the 6-year remembrance of former coach/president Flip Saunders’ passing. Saunders died on October 25, 2015.

The Wolves host New Orleans Monday night, trying to start the season 3-0.
Following Monday’s game, the Wolves’ No. 1 ranked defense will get much tougher tests. The Wolves will face Milwaukee, Denver and the Clippers twice, all teams that ranked among the best offenses in the league last year.
