Wild training camp begins in St. Paul

The 2021-22 Minnesota Wild gathered as a group for the very first time as training camp began Thuesday at the TRIA Rink in downtown St. Paul.

The first sessions went off without Kirill Kaprizov, who needs one more negative Covid-19 test before he can join the team. Kaprizov signed a new contract earlier this week and is expected to join the workouts on Friday morning.

The Wild have their first exhibition game of the season Saturday at St Louis.

Training camp runs through Tuesday, October 12th with teh season opener in Anaheim on Friday, October 15th.
