The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to trade defensive end Ngakoue to the Vikings for a 2021 second-round draft pick and a conditional 2022 fifth-round draft pick that could go as high as a third-round pick, league sources told ESPN. However, until the trade is official, Zimmer can not comment on Ngakoue.

Other talking points included his thoughts on how the team looked during the Friday scrimmage at U.S. Bank Stadium, his thoughts on the backup quarterbacks, when he expects DE Danielle Hunter back and how long he thinks he would need to get back to football condition, and if the Vikings have shifted focus to the Green Bay Packers yet.
