Vikings’ Za’Darius Smith questionable, Booth doubtful to play Sunday
The Minnesota Vikings may be without two players on defense for Sunday’s game in London.
Friday, the team listed starting outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith as questionable and cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. as doubtful to play against the Saints. Smith is dealing with a knee injury while Booth is still nursing a quad injury that has kept him out of the team’s past two games.
The good news for the Vikings is starting safety Harrison Smith, who missed last weekend’s game against Detroit with a concussion, has practiced fully all week and is expected to start on Sunday.
Additionally, running back Dalvin Cook, fullback C.J. Ham and middle linebacker Eric Kendricks, who all appeared on the injury report this week, all participated fully in practice Thursday and are expected to play against the Saints.
Minnesota is 2-1 on the season while New Orleans is 1-2.
With Sunday’s game in London, kickoff is set for 8:30 a.m. (CT) and will be broadcast on KSTP.
