Vikings rule out Darrisaw, Evans, Booth

The Minnesota Vikings will be thin in the secondary for their Thanksgiving Day matchup against the New England Patriots.

Wednesday, the team officially ruled out cornerbacks Akayleb Evans and Andrew Booth, Jr. Evans is dealing with a concussion while Booth missed practice all week with a knee injury.

That’s in addition to Cameron Dantzler, who was placed on injured reserve earlier this month and has missed the team’s past two games.

Additionally, starting left tackle Christian Darrisaw will miss the game against New England due to a concussion.

Defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson is also listed as questionable. He’s missed Minnesota’s last three games due to a calf injury.

The good news for the Vikings is edge rusher Za’Darius Smith and wide receiver Justin Jefferson were off the injury report Wednesday and appear to be good to go for Thursday night’s game.

The Vikings are trying to rebound after Sunday’s blowout loss to Dallas.
