The Vikings’ 2023 draft class got their first workouts in front of the new coaches on Friday and Saturday in Eagan.

Cornerback Mekhi Blackmon was the Vikings’ first defensive player selected when they took him in the third round out of USC. He could earn playing time as a rookie and has experience practicing against first round pick Jordan Addison at Southern Cal.

Quarterback Jaren Hall will get a chance to sit under the learning tree of Kirk Cousins in 2023. A 5th round pick out of BYU, Hall figures to land on the Vikings practice squad this fall.
