Vikings RB Dalvin Cook has dislocated shoulder
Vikings running back Dalvin Cook has a dislocated shoulder and is expected to miss at least a couple games, a source confirms to KSTP. The Vikings play at Detroit next Sunday, then have a short week with a Thursday night game at home vs. Pittsburgh.
It’s also possible that the Vikings elect to put Cook on injured reserve, which would force him to miss at least three games.
Cook was taken off the field on a cart after injuring his shoulder in the third quarter against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. He went down after losing a fumble and stayed on the ground for a while before being taken to the locker room.
Cook had 10 carries for 39 yards and six catches for 64 yards before getting hurt.
