Vikings place cornerback Dantzler on injured reserve
The Minnesota Vikings placed starting cornerback Cameron Dantzler Sr. on injured reserve on Saturday. Dantzler hurt his ankle in their game against Washington last Sunday. He will miss at least the next four games.
Rookie Akayleb Evans will make his first career start on Sunday when the Vikings visit the Buffalo Bills. Minnesota also signed Duke Shelley to the active roster from the practice squad to add depth to the secondary.
