A day after another heartbreaking loss, the Vikings lost a defender to COVID-19 protocols.
The team announced second-year cornerback Cameron Dantzler was put on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
A positive test would put Dantzler’s availability for Sunday’s game against Detroit in jeopardy.
Additionally, the team also announced it released wide receiver Whop Philyor from the practice squad.
Sunday’s 14-7 loss to Cleveland dropped the Vikings to 1-3 on the season.
