The Minnesota Vikings selected LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson with the 22nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Soon after, they traded the 25th overall pick to San Francisco in exchange for this year’s 31st (Rd 1), 117th (Rd 4) and 176th (Rd 5) selections.

With the acquired 31st overall pick late in the first round, they drafted TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney.

Jefferson led the National Championship-winning Tigers in receptions last year – tying for the FBS lead with his 111 catches. His 18 receiving touchdowns were second in the nation – behind only his LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase.

Gladney was first-team All-Big 2 in 2019 after leading the conference in pass breakups with 12.
