Vikings Mike Zimmer discusses Saints and relationship with Sean Payton

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer met with the media, vis Zoom, Tuesday morning at TCO Performance Center in Eagan.

Zimmer discussed the difficult matchup the New Orleans Saints will present when they play on Christmas, the high-powered offense the Saints have, the budding rivalry between the Vikings and Saints, his relationship with Saints head coach Sean Payton, and whether or not he thinks linebacker Eric Kendricks will be able to play the rest of the year.

The Vikings, to keep any playoff hopes alive, need to win on Friday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
