Vikings preparing for long flight to London Thursday night

The Vikings will practice in Eagan Thursday afternoon before departing at 7 p.m. for London. They will arrive in London at 8 a.m. Friday morning local time, 2 a.m. Twin Cities time. After checking into their hotel, the Vikings will practice at 3:30 p.m. Friday local time.
The Vikings have done extensive homework heading into this lengthy trip to ensure that their players are at their best for kickoff Sunday afternoon. Kickoff time Sunday is set for 8:30 a.m. Twin Cities time, 2:30 p.m. London time. The game can be seen on KSTP-TV.
We spoke with a number of Vikings in the locker room this week about heading overseas, playing the Saints, and this 2-1 start.

On the injury front, the Vikings will get safety Harrison Smith back on Sunday. He missed the win over the Lions due to concussion symptoms. Running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) and whether he’ll play is to be determined.
