Among many talking points following the Vikings’ one point loss in Seattle is coach Mike Zimmer’s decision to go for a 4th-and-1 with under 2 minutes to go. He could’ve kicked a field goal to go up eight points, 29-21, and made Seattle get a touchdown and a two-point conversion.
The Vikings, who had run for over 180 yards, called on Alexander Mattison to get them that yard. But he missed a hole to the far right and was stopped short.
Seattle then took over, down 26-21, and eventually drove 94-yards for a game-winning touchdown on 4th-and-goal.
Postgame reaction from the players made available favored going for the win on that 4th down.

Sunday night’s loss will be talked about for weeks, as the Vikings are now 0-7 against Seattle QB Russell Wilson. This is the third year in a row that the Vikings have lost at Seattle.
