Vikings locker room interviews, Jan. 11: Cousins and Cook prepare for Giants

The Minnesota Vikings 13-4 overall record landed them the three seed in the NFC playoff bracket, and they will see the six seed, New York Giants on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in the opening round of postseason.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and running back Dalvin Cook addressed the media on Wednesday leading up to Sunday’s playoff game against the Giants. A team the Vikings beat 27-24 on December 24.

Cousins threw three touchdown passes and nearly for 300 yards in the regular season matchup against the Giants. Cook had 77 yards of total offense in that game, 64 yards of that was on the ground on 14 carries.

The Vikings are considered to be three point favorites for Sunday’s Wild Card clash. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. (CT) in Minneapolis.
