Vikings LB Kendricks helps give away winter coats to elementary students in Minneapolis

With winter right around the corner, Minnesota Vikings linebacker Erick Kendricks helped give away winter coats to students at Whittier International Elementary school in Minneapolis Tuesday morning.
Partnering with with a UnitedHealthcare grant to the Dreambuilders Foundation, nearly 500 new coats were provided to Minneapolis Public Schools students.
“I remember when it got cold in Fresno, California, where I’m from, not as cold as here obviously, said Kendricks. “I remember me, my mom and brother and sister, we put our jackets on lay-away in order to afford them. So, I know it’s a big deal.”
The students will also received additional accessories that includes hats and children wellness kits.
