During his Monday news conference, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said that linebacker Anthony Barr has torn a pectoral muscle and will be out for the season.
The injury happened in the first half of Sunday’s loss at Indianapolis.
The Vikings host 2-0 Tennessee on Sunday after giving up 876 yards and 71 points in their first two games.
DE Danielle Hunter (undisclosed injury) is on IL and can’t return until Week 4. So, an already beat-up defense, is now down Barr and Hunter vs. one of the best teams in the NFL.
