Vikings HC Mike Zimmer says Danielle Hunter in New York for second opinion on injury

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer met with the media, following Friday’s practice at TCO Performance Center in Eagan.

Zimmer spoke about how the team handled the week following players and coaches on the Tennessee Titans testing positive for COVID-19, and not being able to practice until Thursday, Zimmer also discussed how cornerback Cameron Dantzler looked this week coming back from an injury, how cornerback Jeff Gladney has looked in practice, and Zimmer said that star defensive end Danielle Hunter has been in New York this week to get a second opinion on his injury that has put him on the injury reserve. However, Zimmer would not say what injury Hunter specifically has.
