Vikings locker room interviews, Jan. 9: Time to seize this rare postseason opportunity

For the first time since the Minneapolis Miracle Jan. 2018, the Vikings will host a playoff game at U.S. Bank Stadium. It’s the Vikings vs. the New York Giants Sunday at 3:40 p.m.

We spoke with LBs Jordan Hicks, Danielle Hunter, and Eric Kendricks, RB Alexander Mattison, and DL Harrison Phillips on Monday afternoon in Eagan.

Hicks and Phillips played in the postseason last year, while the other three last participated in the playoffs Jan. 2020. Hicks played with Arizona last year, Phillips with Buffalo.
