Vikings elevate Nickerson, list 5 as questionable vs. Colts

After a letdown last week in Detroit, the Minnesota Vikings are hoping to officially wrap up the NFC North with a win Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts.

However, they may be without a few key players again.

The team listed center Garrett Bradbury, cornerback Cameron Dantzler, edges Danielle Hunter and Patrick Jones II, and defensive lineman Harrison Phillips all as questionable for Saturday’s game.

Bradbury, who missed last weekend’s game, was limited this week with a back injury; Danzler didn’t practice due to an illness; Hunter was limited with a neck injury and Phillips missed Tuesday’s practice and was limited on Wednesday with a back injury. Jones wasn’t listed on the injury report until the end of the week.

With Dantzler, who just returned last week after missing four games, unable to practice this week and his status in question, the team elevated cornerback Parry Nickerson to the active roster for Saturday’s game.

A win or a tie against Indianapolis (4-8-1) would secure the division for Minnesota.

KSTP Sports’ coverage kicks off at 11 a.m. ahead of the noon start for the game, which will air on KSTP-TV.
