Vikings coach Zimmer: WR Jefferson ‘should be back soon’

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer met with reporters early Monday afternoon and declared that WR Justin Jefferson (shoulder), "Should be back soon."
Jefferson went down on Friday with what at first appeared to be a serious injury. But the second year star receiver will be okay, and is expected back this week from a reported sprained AC joint.

Zimmer added that he is “taking care” of LB Anthony Barr by keeping him out Friday and Saturday. He certainly didn’t sound concerned.
Zimmer hasn’t been impressed with the competition for the third linebacker spot. Offseason addition Nick Vigil has played well, but “All the other linebackers need to pick it up.”

Then for his final thoughts, Zimmer said, "I feel like we have to get in better shape than we are right now." He’ll add some stuff to practice starting today to help on the conditioning side of things.
