Vikings coach Mike Zimmer and WR Adam Thielen met with reporters, via Zoom, on Monday afternoon.
The most popular topic was the upcoming NFL trade deadline, set for Tuesday, November 3. Having already moved DE Yannick Ngakoue, could others be heading out? At 1-5 with a game at 5-1 Green Bay Sunday, the playoffs seem like an incredible long-shot.
So, would it make sense to move OL Riley Reiff and other veterans?
Zimmer and Thielen touched on the emotions behind the Ngakoue move, if a rebuild seems inevitable, and more.

With COVID protocols in place, some NFL teams are pushing for trades to happen by Thursday. The thought is to get the new player into their city and be able to play by Week 9. In other words, the Vikings could be active again this week, and not wait until next Tuesday. It’ll be an interesting week.
