Vikings coach Mike Zimmer met with reporters on Monday. He noted that he expects LB Anthony Barr to make his season debut on Sunday. He also called the Eric Kendricks holding penalty on 4th down Sunday, "ticky-tacky." That call led to Cleveland’s lone touchdown.

Zimmer doubled-down on having faith in his run defense, noting that Cleveland has perhaps the best rushing offense in the NFL. The Browns ran for 184 yards in Sunday’s win, the fourth straight game that they have topped 150 yards.

Zimmer and the Vikings have a good shot to get back in the win column Sunday when winless Detroit comes to town. The Lions could be without Twin Cities native and Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow (turf toe) and for sure will be down star pass rusher Romeo Okwara (achilles injury).

In addition, Lions QB Jared Goff is now 0-11 when not having Sean McVay as his coach.
