Vikings add DL depth in Adofo-Mensah’s 1st move as GM

The Minnesota Vikings made its first roster move Wednesday under new General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.

The Vikings signed defensive tackle T.Y. McGill.

The eight-year veteran out of North Carolina State University spent the final 10 weeks of last season on Minnesota’s practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for the final two games.

McGill has played in 46 games in his career, with most of those coming with the Indianapolis Colts in 2015-16. He’s also had past stints with the Browns, Eagles and Chargers.

NFL free agency officially begins on March 16 following a two-day legal tampering period. The NFL Draft is set for April 28 through April 30.
