Sports photojournalists Scott Wise and Jeff Brioschi captured solid video Wednesday in Eagan from the first day of the Vikings-Broncos joint practices. They’ll practice together again on Thursday, then play an exhibition game on Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Bad news from the day: Vikings WR Blake Proehl went down with a knee injury and had to be carted off. An update on his status is expected Thursday. WR Bisi Johnson went down earlier in training camp with a season-ending knee injury.
These Vikings sat out Wednesday’s joint practice: DE Danielle Hunter, WR Justin Jefferson, WR Dede Westbrook, OL Christian Darrisaw, and QB Nate Stanley.
