Gophers postpone Maryland gymnastics meet, cite COVID-19 protocols

The University of Minnesota announced Thursday it has decided to postpone the upcoming women’s gymnastics meet at Maryland.
According to the university, the decision was made due to internal COVID-19 protocols within the Golden Gopher program.
The two programs will be coordinating with the Big Ten Conference to possibly reschedule the meet, which was scheduled for Sunday.
The Gophers’ next meet is scheduled for Feb. 6 at Illinois. They officially began their season on Jan. 17 against UCLA and hosted Michigan this past Monday.
