Plenty to play for as Loons enter final two games

Minnesota United still has a chance to win their way into position to host a home playoff game, but also have a chance to lose their way out of the postseason altogether.

Sitting 7th-place with games at San Jose and against Vancouver to go, the Loons can still reach 4th place to earn that home playoff date. But they have a host of squads trying to run them down for the final playoff spot they currently hold

United’s penultimate game comes this weekend at last-placed San Jose, then wraps up at home on “MLS Decision Day” the final Sunday of the season.
