Twins scouting director Sean Johnson talked with our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson about their 2020 Draft Class, which is made up of four players selected late last week.
Those four are:
- 1st round pick (pick 27): North Carolina 1B Aaron Sabato
- 2nd round pick (pick 59): Tennessee OF Alerick Soularie
- 4th round pick (pick 128): Texas high school SP Marco Raya
- 5th round pick (pick 158): Hawaii high school OF Kala’i Rosario
The Twins sacrificed one draft pick when they signed free agent 3B Josh Donaldson, and moved another when acquiring SP Kenta Maeda.

The Twins are now in the process of signing undrafted free agents, having already agreed to terms with Fordham’s John Stankiewicz, the Atlantic 10 pitcher of the year.
