Twins put Urshela on paternity list, recall Celestino

The Minnesota Twins on Friday placed infielder Gio Urshela on the paternity list.

The team says Urshela and his wife are expecting a baby girl.

This season, Urshela has hit .265 with nine home runs, 42 RBI and a .733 OPS in 86 games.

To take his roster spot, the Twins recalled outfielder Gilberto Celestino from Triple-A St. Paul. Celestino, who was optioned to St. Paul on Tuesday, has hit .268 with seven doubles, one triple, eight RBI, 12 walks and 17 runs scored in 66 games for Minnesota this season.
